She was born in
Matsuyama, Shikoku Island, Japan at an early stage of
the World War II. She grew up there and is living in the
suburbs of the city with her husband. She is now one of few
people who experienced the large scale of air attacks during
the war in her
childhood. She is against wars of any kind.
She has been a
teacher of abacus for 15 years. Since after 60 years of age,
she studied English for 6 years. Her motto is “to live is to
study.” Her hobby is aerobics, swimming, PC and
strolling with camera.
